June 29: The last day in Paris / by Hugo Perez

Today marks the last day of this European trek through Amsterdam, Vienna, Florence, and Paris.

Today started with a standard French breakfast of croissants, coffee, and fresh squeezed orange juice in a cafe on the corner of a busy intersection.

We then headed to the north part of town and explored a burgeoning center of art galleries. We decided to skip the Orsay and it's Cezzanne exhibit, replacing it with contemporary works off the beaten path.

We definitely took the time to visit some landmarks such as the Saint Chappell and enjoy a glass or two.

Oeuvre for now; I'll leave you with a quote from the current reigning queen:

Be the strange you wish to see in the world. Rely on brains, beauty be damned, let monsters reign. If you want to join the revolution: innovate, that's my solution! Wear a crown, fuck with gender, bend the rules, don't surrender. A thinking queen speaks to the heart, she's stranger than fiction, better than art!
