About the art

My work examines the medium of portraiture from an abstract perspective, exploring themes of identity and self-perception. I develop pieces with a combination of acrylic and pastel sticks to create highly textural, emotive figures. The subjects in the work can be describe as cubist in nature and informed by my cultural background. Recent collaborations include: Pride Portraits, Positive Exchange Project, and #BeVisible Wall.
